In preparation for our discussion over the next several days please read and meditate on the following scriptures:

“Ascribe to the Lord, O sons of the mighty, Ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty and majesty of His holiness [as the creator and source of holiness].”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭29‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth. Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns; The world also is firmly established, It shall not be moved; He shall judge the peoples righteously.” Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; Let the sea roar, and all its fullness; Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it. Then all the trees of the woods will rejoice before the Lord. For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with His truth.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭96‬:‭9‬-‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Listen, O daughter, Consider and incline your ear; Forget your own people also, and your father’s house; So the King will greatly desire your beauty; Because He is your Lord, worship Him. And the daughter of Tyre will come with a gift; The rich among the people will seek your favor. The royal daughter is all glorious within the palace; Her clothing is woven with gold. She shall be brought to the King in robes of many colors; The virgins, her companions who follow her, shall be brought to You. With gladness and rejoicing they shall be brought; They shall enter the King’s palace.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭45‬:‭10‬-‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!””

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭6‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.””

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬, ‭8‬-‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This week we continue our examination of true worship. As we shared in preparation for last week’s words: Worship is more than just a religious exercise. Worship is a different dimension in which the boundaries between our independent identity and the Almighty become blurred or totally removed. Through true worship, we can be transformed as we touch the face of God.

Peace to you.

Jesus is coming! Get ready for Him!
