12 Days of Christmas at Ararat 2025 Day 3: All of the Creation came to be through the Word (Jesus).

“All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.“

‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus was on a boat with His disciples, and was sleeping. Suddenly, a great storm arose; and the disciples feared for their lives. They frantically awakened Jesus. He then rebuked the wind and sea like a parent rebukes an unruly child. The disciples’ amazement led them to ask a very important question:

“So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?””

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭8‬:‭27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The answer to the disciples’ question is simple: The wind and sea—indeed, all creation—came into existence through Him. Indeed, Jesus was rebuking like a parent because He is the Creator of the wind and sea!

The writer of Hebrews says it this way:

“God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;“

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Friend, our Savior and Lord, is the force through Whom ALL created things were made. Now, considering Who He is, can’t we trust Him with our lives? Are YOU trusting Him with YOUR life?
