Be the first to know!

““Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it—the Lord is His name, ‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.’”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭33‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭AMP‬‬

For many years I had a recurring dream in which I would be in what was my house (never my actual house) and would notice a door I had never seen before. Upon opening the door, I would discover a room I never knew was part of my house.

Interestingly, I haven’t had this previously recurring dream since having the “blue velvet” version of the dream.

In this last “blue velvet” iteration of my secret room recurring dream I opened the door to see a vast “room” in which everything I could see—all furnishings, “floor,” etc.—was covered with sky blue velvet. (As I have said at other times in relating this dream, I would never think of surrounding myself with the color, sky blue, let alone, with velvet.)

Additionally, the room was clearly palatial and appointed as such.

None of the other rooms I had “discovered” looked like this one. All of the other rooms were expansive but were clearly just that: a room. Walls were evident, as were a floor and ceiling as one would expect in a room. However, none of these features were evident in the blue velvet “room” except the “floor” (also blue velvet) on which I walked. I don’t remember there being any sense of walls or any sense of a ceiling; for that matter, there was no sense of an end to it.

“That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Over the years I have come to realize that whereas the other hidden room dreams were giving a glimpse into the unseen: the realm of the spirit, the “blue velvet” version indicated the walking into (realizing!) that unencumbered “place” found only in that which is eternal.

In our opening scripture we see the same passage with which we began our journey into the “Year of Realization.” In it we see the Lord giving an invitation to see what we have not seen before so that we can walk where we have not walked before.

Indeed, the Lord instructed that we step aside from our paradigm: the Book of Esther, to remind ourselves what the “Year of Realization” is all about. I trust these words have accomplished that purpose.

Tomorrow—as we step back into Esther’s story—we will see what a sudden shift looks like.

Peace to you.

“Then Harbonah, one of the eunuchs serving the king said, “Now look, there are gallows fifty cubits (75 ft.) high standing at Haman’s house, which Haman made for Mordecai, whose good warning saved the king.” And the king said, “Hang him on it.” So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king’s anger subsided.”

‭‭Esther‬ ‭7‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭AMP‬‬

In January, 2015, the Lord gave me a prophetic lesson, part of which I would like to share with you here. In referencing the events of the end times that would shortly be manifesting, He gave me this:

“Upheaval in the leadership of many world powers will come at once out of which will come the platform for the evil one who is evil—in-flesh: that one who is wickedness, who rides in on a throne of destruction and devastation. This one hides the blood on his hands and wears the mask of a victim. He is hungry and cannot be filled; he is lonely and cannot be comforted; he is afraid and cannot be consoled. The fear that he brings is his own and with it he pulls into his control those who do not know the power of My Name. He is forever fallen. He is the destroyer who is forever destroyed. His name is Abahsahvahnegay [a name meaning “forever cast out”]. Do not be afraid. I am with you. I have already thrown this evil one out of Heaven’s throne and I will be with you to deliver you. I am coming in the clouds. Look for Me. I am coming soon.”

Whereas the Lord can and will deal with the enemies of the children of God in this life, we look for the day when the accuser of the brethren, Satan himself, will be neutralized.

“And the devil who had deceived them was hurled into the lake of fire and burning brimstone (sulfur), where the beast (Antichrist) and false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night, forever and ever.”

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭20‬:‭10‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Wicked people spring up and boast great things against the people of God. Indeed, they are of their father the devil. But just like their father, they will also be cut off and destroyed.

In our opening scripture we see that Haman is put to death on the gallows he had built for Mordecai’s execution.

Satan, the accuser of the brethren, makes every attempt to see that mankind is permanently cut off from the Lord. But, his accusations are building a gallows he will face.

Thanks to the work of the cross of Christ, we have been assured that he will not be victorious over us. Quite the contrary, we will rule and reign over that which he once controlled!

Be encouraged! Evil will be forever destroyed!

Peace to you.

“In despair he [Haman] fell on the couch where Queen Esther was reclining, just as the king was returning from the palace garden. The king exclaimed, “Will he even assault the queen right here in the palace, before my very eyes?” And as soon as the king spoke, his attendants covered Haman’s face, signaling his doom.”

‭‭Esther‬ ‭7‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT

I remember a story my father would tell about a time when a young man came to him after a call to repentance. Tearful, the young man told him that he knew he needed to give his life to the Lord. However, he went on to explain that he had something he had promised to do with his friends; and he must do that first. The young man promised that he would give his life to the Lord the next time he was at church. Of course, you can imagine what my father said to him in an effort to convince him not to wait. But, the young man’s mind was made up. Sadly, another opportunity for repentance never came. He was killed in a car accident soon after that.

I remember the sorrow in my father’s voice when he told this story, as well as his efforts to compel those who heard it, to not make that same mistake.

Yes, we know that God is merciful. He even extends the timing of things to give more opportunities for repentance, not wanting anyone to perish. But, the time comes when it’s too late to change course.

Jesus—knowing that the destruction of Jerusalem was now inevitable—mourned:

“But as he came closer to Jerusalem and saw the city ahead, he began to weep. “How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace. But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from your eyes. Before long your enemies will build ramparts against your walls and encircle you and close in on you from every side. They will crush you into the ground, and your children with you. Your enemies will not leave a single stone in place, because you did not recognize it when God visited you.””

‭‭Luke‬ ‭19‬:‭41‬-‭44‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Jesus’ words are filled with the same sorrow heard in the voice of my father as he told the tragic story of the young man who put off repentance.

The writer of Hebrews warns the people of God not to allow things in their lives that could put them in the position of having no opportunity for course reversal.

“and [see to it] that no one is immoral or godless like Esau, who sold his own birthright for a single meal. For you know that later on, when he wanted [to regain title to] his inheritance of the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no opportunity for repentance [there was no way to repair what he had done, no chance to recall the choice he had made], even though he sought for it with [bitter] tears.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Tragically, there comes a time when the penalty can no longer be delayed and repentance is no longer an option.

In our opening scripture we see that Haman—having realized that the king will most likely kill him—falls across the lap of Queen Esther. But, it’s too late to beg for mercy.

Now—in terms of the coming of the Lord—there will be a time when those who are looking for Jesus to return, will escape into His presence from the cataclysm the people remaining will face. Don’t be one of those finding it too late to escape.

Peace to you.
