“A Journey with John” Day 1: Lets take a journey together!

“Word of the Day at Ararat” invites you to join us on “A Journey with John.” As the Lord directs us, we will go all the way through the Gospel of John between now and Resurrection Sunday. We will allow John to be our guide, (re)introducing us to Who Jesus is, and what He did in His time here, walking among us as one of us. John provides a unique lens through which to view Jesus’ work. His focus is on highlighting the divinity of Jesus, as well as providing stories not covered in the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke).

We encourage you to read the passage for each day before reading the summary we will provide here. Our summary will highlight main points in the selected passage, offer some key verses, as well as providing questions for your further consideration.

This journey is meant to jumpstart a deeper walk with our Lord in this Lenten Season. Let’s take this special journey with John the Beloved, together.
