Year We have been considering Psalm 141, and what we can glean from it in terms of a strategy for navigating 2025 (the Lord gave us that Psalm 141 provides a kind of template for navigating 2025).
Here are our topics, along with our opening scriptures, for each of the last four days as we continued our journey into the “Year of Exposure.”
Day 49: Keep your eyes on Him.
“But my eyes are upon You, O God the Lord; In You I take refuge; Do not leave my soul destitute.”
Psalms 141:8 NKJV
Day 50: He replaces our ashes with a beautiful crown. (We stepped aside to consider Ash Wednesday.)
““The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.””
Isaiah 61:1-3 NKJV
Day 51: He leads us safely through the gauntlets set by our enemies.
“Keep me from the snares they have laid for me, And from the traps of the workers of iniquity.”
Psalms 141:9 NKJV
Day 52: Evil traps boomerang on those who set them.
“Let the wicked fall into their own nets, While I escape safely.”
Psalms 141:10 NKJV
Remember, keeping our eyes on the Lord keeps us safe and secure, even though we may face uncertainty amidst upheaval.
Peace to you.
Jesus is coming! Get ready for Him!
